Executive Director's Message
Mark Eatherton
RPA Executive Director

When you join RPA, you are never far from home.

Since 1994, the RPA has been promoting radiant heating as comfortable, efficient, and healthy on behalf of its network of dedicated members. These members include radiant and hydronics manufacturers, designers and architects, suppliers and distributors, builders and contractors and installers.  All of these members are dedicated to the professional growth and advancement of everyone in the organization; including each other.

The RPA, in these hard economic times found it necessary to seek help in order to continue to deliver first-rate services for radiant and hydronics professionals and carry on with the promise to consumers that working with an RPA contractor results in energy-efficient, high-performance heating systems; a partner organization with the depth, strength and influence that could further the goals and objectives of the RPA as envisioned.

It’s a bright future for the RPA. Its new home is with The IAPMO Group. IAPMO has an unmatched resource base of members and an infrastructure of staff equipped with what it takes to deliver the RPA sustained growth, strong financial performance, and increased market reach domestically and internationally.

In addition to enhanced visibility worldwide, RPA members, who instantaneously became IAPMO members, have noticed that IAPMO is at the forefront and works year- round to advocate code reforms that immeasurably benefit the industry. RPA members now have access to IAPMO’s technical experts in plumbing and mechanical codes and can even have a role in shaping the codes that govern the design, installation, methods and materials in the plumbing, mechanical and solar systems in homes and businesses. RPA members will also experience the expertise of IAPMO’s training and certification professionals by participating in state-of-the-art contemporary delivery systems, and can post job openings on a substantial engineering network job center.

Through participating, sharing, and contributing, members become friends.  Contractors, Dealers, Installers, Distributors, Manufactuerers, Sales Representitives, Design Professionals, Utility Companies, Educators, and Individuals desiring to advance the mission of the RPA feel at home with the RPA.  When you join RPA, you are where you belong.
