Mark J. Chaffee, Director of Marketing - Residential Products TACO, INC. 1160 Cranston Street, Cranston, RI 02920 Phone: 401-942-8000 Fax: 401-248-0046 Email: marcha@taco-hvac.com
Mark Chaffee has been with TACO since 1994 and currently oversees Taco’s advertising, brand management, social media, product management and contractor education & training programs. Mark’s representation on the RPA board began in 2011 when he was appointed to fill the newly created seat as the liaison between AHRI’s Hydronic Institute public relations committee and the RPA. The partnership was created to bring together into one organization all those who have a vested interest in seeing the industry’s share of the North American home comfort market grow.
Mark has been a strong voice in an effort to unite manufacturers, suppliers and contractors to create a program for the United States based on the Canadian Hydronics Council’s ‘Beautiful Heat’ campaign. He believes that the industry can experience significant growth for all members through heightened public awareness of the comfort and health benefits of hydronic based systems.
As a native of Rhode Island, Mark spent several years away from the Ocean State between prep school, college, and a stint owning his own business in the marketing and publishing field. After selling the business he went on to graduate school where he earned a MBA with a focus on new product marketing. While taking a few hard earned months off after graduation before starting a management consulting job in New York City he stumbled upon Taco, it was an immediate fit and ever since he has been working to strengthen the hydronics industry and Taco’s role within it.
