Board of Directors

The Board of Directors ensures that the purpose of the RPA continually remains current, relevant, and on-course to meet the ongoing goals and objectives of the RPA members.

The Board of Directors includes four officers and eight Directors-at-Large who serve as Chairmen to the eight committees.

Mark J. Chaffee, V.P. Governmental Affairs & Sustainability
1160 Cranston Street, Cranston, RI 02920
Phone: 401-942-8000 Fax: 401-248-0046
Email: marcha@taco-hvac.com

Mark Chaffee has been with TACO since 1994 and currently oversees Taco’s advertising, brand management, social media, product management and contractor education & training programs. Mark’s representation on the RPA board began in 2011 when he was appointed to fill the newly created seat as the liaison between AHRI’s Hydronic Institute public relations committee and the RPA. The partnership was created to bring together into one organization all those who have a vested interest in seeing the industry’s share of the North American home comfort market grow.

Mark has been a strong voice in an effort to unite manufacturers, suppliers and contractors to create a program for the United States based on the Canadian Hydronics Council’s ‘Beautiful Heat’ campaign.  He believes that the industry can experience significant growth for all members through heightened public awareness of the comfort and health benefits of hydronic based systems.

As a native of Rhode Island, Mark spent several years away from the Ocean State between prep school, college, and a stint owning his own business in the marketing and publishing field.  After selling the business he went on to graduate school where he earned a MBA with a focus on new product marketing.  While taking a few hard earned months off after graduation before starting a management consulting job in New York City he stumbled upon Taco, it was an immediate fit and ever since he has been working to strengthen the hydronics industry and Taco’s role within it.

Currently, she is the Senior Manager overseeing the care and management of the Uponor brand. This includes managing Uponor’s national advertising, public relations, literature development, internal and external communications and general branding efforts – nationally as well as contributing on a global level. Through the venue of marketing communications, Ingrid has devoted many years to the advancement of radiant floor heating awareness for trade professionals and consumers and has dedicated great energy to learning and understanding the features and benefits of radiant systems.

A native New Yorker, now happily living in Minnesota, Ingrid often draws from the varied experiences she gained while working first for an ambassador and then in the International Relations Department of Bankers Trust Company in Manhattan.

Ingrid holds herself to high standards and brings passion, experience, wisdom, integrity, relationship building, and an inquiring nature to anything she does.  Max has been the chairman of the Radiant Professionals Alliance Education Committee for the last 2-1/2 years. Mark Eatherton intentionally recruited Max into the ranks of the RPA’s education committee, knowing that he would bring a good, fresh,  young man’s approach to help us in moving this industry organization forward.

Max has some excellent hydronic blood lineage in that his father is Bob “Hot Rod” Rohr of Caleffi fame, and his mother is Ellen Rohr, of Bare Bones Business fame. He has been instrumental in putting the educational offerings that the RPA provides for its members at the annual AHR conference as well as helping to determine the direction the educational offerings are taking as it pertains to the RPA contracting members
