Breaking Down the ASHRAE Headquarters Building Performance Data
When the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) conducted a major renovation of its headquarters in 2008, a representative of Bell & Gossett, a Xylem brand, was brought in to install a geothermal pumping system to serve the second floor of the 30,000 square foot building. The system helped bring down the facility's energy consumption, while showcasing the most efficient ASHRAE technologies to ultimately achieve LEED Platinum status.
